Le Saigonais in downtown Saigon will be hosting an exhibition of Ho Hung’s latest work until Jul. 31, with an opening reception on Sunday, Jun. 12 from 4pm to 8pm.
Using dappled light and warm colours to record images of Vietnam, the Nghe An born painter’s work presents a Vietnam that we know through a more unusual medium — watercolour. With a focus on light and grandiose skies above bodies of water, through his work nature and man come together as one.
A graduate of Hue Fine Arts University, Hung studied watercolour painting and 2D graphics in Japan and Thailand. He has held several exhibitions in Hue and Ho Chi Minh City.
Le Saigonais is on the 1st Floor, 77-79 Ly Tu Trong, Q1, HCMC
