In celebration of 40 years of diplomatic relations between Germany and Vietnam, the German Embassy Hanoi will be hosting the 2015 version of Deutschlandfest on Saturday Mar. 28 at Van Ho Exhibition Centre.
With lots of entertainment, German food, beer and music on offer, the festival will also feature the work of a number of German companies with operations in Vietnam. In the evening the multi-genre German band Raggabund will take to the stage to take the festivities through to its 9pm close. Representing a colourful, multicultural Germany, the musicians sing in Spanish, German or English about life and love, social justice and tolerance. Playing anything from Dancehall Ragga and Latin Beat to hip-hop or relaxed ballads, according to the press release, “Raggabund’s musical energy immediately puts audiences under their spell”.
Entrance to Deutschlandfest is free of charge and the festival runs from 10am to 9pm. Van Ho Exhibition Centre is at 2 Hoa Lu, Hai Ba Trung, Hanoi
