Despite rapid modernisation and the pull of the big cities, the beach remains pivotal to the daily life of Vietnam.
In this time lapse video made by Grahame Booker of Fish Eye Productions, two locations in south-central Vietnam are seen through a different lens. The first, Mui Ne, has become one of the most popular beach spots in the country. Yet despite its resorts and almost non-stop development, the fishing town of Mui Ne continues its traditional, daily routine.
Further north in Ninh Thuan Province is Vinh Hy Bay. As yet undeveloped, this spot on the edge of Nui Chua National Park is the traditional Vietnam. Fisherman, small villages, a life lived off the sea. Like its sister area further south, the views, mountains, sunsets and natural setting make it one of the most beautiful spots in Vietnam.
