The Onion Cellar continues its dedication to all things film by presenting two screenings of Insurgentes at Hanoi Cinematheque (22A Hai Ba Trung) on May 30 and May 31 from 8pm.

A documentary/road trip movie about media and music artist Steve Wilson, of Porcupine Tree, No-Man, Blackfield and Bass Communion, Insurgentes follows the artist as he travels the world through different cultures and continents meeting other personalities in the industry. In a quest to find out more about the current state of music and its future, the film looks into the issues of creating, packaging and marketing music in an era when iPods, mp3's and download culture are
changing and eroding perceptions of exactly what an album is supposed to sound and look like.

The film will be shown in English with English subtitles and tickets are available from Hanoi Cinematheque's box office which is open from 2pm until 9pm.
