Feeling a little change of season sickness? Try the new chicken-ginseng soup at Korean restaurant Bong Chu Jim Dak.

On approaching the villa that houses new Korean restaurant Bong Chu, it’s easy to feel that you have been invited to dine at a plush, Ambassadors’ residency. The building is magnificent, and surely one of the most exteriorly beautiful restaurants in the city. A well-kept, gated courtyard instantly seduces and beckons you in, with candle lit tables, healthy-looking palm trees and bright potted plants dotted around methodically. You’d be forgiven for feeling underdressed.

If all the plain-boiled chicken in your life is not quite cutting it, a serving of Bong-Chu Korean steamed chicken may turn that frown around.
